Welcome to The Paris Place! Styling color is one of my passions and I am thrilled to showcase this in my new city of Paris. I hear from friends frequently that “women only wear black in Paris,” or similar limiting fashion statements, but I am here to tell you that French women can and do wear color! I definitely believe in grounding neutrals and the power of a monochromatic look, but COLOR can equal CONFIDENCE.

I mixed three different blue shades in the below image for a summer afternoon of shopping without children (the luxury!!!). I kept the brighter pops from being too crazy with my navy skirt and favorite straw bag. My belt matches the laces on my shoes, and voilá - three different shades of blue can coexist.
